Organisms at Same Habitat and Different Habitat

Organisms choose to live in an environmentwhere they will find it easier to survive. Some organisms prefer to live as a group. For these reasons, many organisms of the same species can be found in the same place at the same time. Apopulation is defined as a group of organisms of the same kind, living, and reproducing at a given place and at the same time.. this include young and adult organisms living in the same place at a given time. Thus, the grasshopper population in the school’s eco-garden would include the total number of adult grasshopper and nymphs living in the garden of a given time.
Different species of organisms also often live in the same place at any given time, because of suitable environmental conditions at that place. A community consists of many populations living together in a particular place. The different populations in a community interact and depend on one another. We say they are interdependent. An example of a community is the marine community which is made up of different populations including phytoplankton, zooplankton, fish, and marine mammals living together in the ocean. Other example are the leaf litter community and rotting log community.
